LoveInUSA Needle Felting Roving Materials Review

Large pieces of wool fiber. Yes, it's real wool. I was initially put off by reviews of "moldy" and "wrong" wool. That's not true, that's completely normal. LOTS of little packets of light-colored, moldy wool roving. I will use it for small wet felt pieces or for felt designs.

I didn't buy any felting, I used it for spinning. I wove 6 meters of 2-ply yarn from a yarn package. Each package acts like a small piece of roving. I can't say about the felting, but I really liked it. I wanted to make multicolored yarn without having to dye or buy multiple rovings. I plan to shoot it in one layer and stack it with a black single.

The price captivates with the variety of colors. They are difficult to use if you are new to tapestry weaving as the roving is less soft and durable than the roving you can buy at the yarn store. This is a very short piece and sometimes more than one piece of roving is produced when attempting to break a circle. This is not very good as this is already the minimum amount. The colors are nice and this is a good product for incorporating many colors into a tapestry in an affordable way, but…
