I don't hate this thread, I don't see many repeat colors, if any, in the pack. My problem is that none of the threads have DCM thread numbers. It's quite annoying when you want to use a specific thread for a specific pattern. I sat down and tried to compare some of them to the floss I already have, it seems easy but it really isn't, or at least not if you want an EXACT match. There are sooo many colors in this set! It offers a very good range of all colors and I believe they are probably very similar to the DMC colors. However, I cannot confirm this as there were no numbers to identify the colours. Or words. Each skein was wrapped in a nondescript sleeve that simply read "Embroidery Floss," with a barcode common to all sleeves. a way of finding out what colors you have (unless you know how to match colors). I use this thread for cross stitching. I'm guessing the color numbers are the same as DMC's main brand, but the thread quality is pretty crappy. For some skeins, the end of the thread is actually glued into the paper label, so even if you can tear off all the pieces of paper, the thread will break or residue of glue will be left behind.
