The A10 is a well designed and well built little speaker amp with some useful features that make it ideal for my use. Loxjie is a new brand (2018) with the same parent company as SMSL. The A10 is similar in many ways to other cool little class D amps. It powers my JBL desktop speakers perfectly, I hear no hiss, hiss or distortion. Plays pretty loud for my desktop use. Four things set it apart from other small, cheap amps: 1. Smart On/Off Switch - The front switch is electronic and has a smooth…

Sound, Aesthetics, Performance

Sounds great, looks great, doesn't get hot or noisy. I bought three, the first two as gifts and the last one for myself. From time to time, a class D switching amplifier hits the mark, and it does. Pros
  • Powerful TPA3116 high-precision Class-D power amplifier chip.
Cons
  • Quality

I wasn't expecting much, partly because of the price, but mostly because I've seen audio products get hyped before and I usually didn't like them at the time. Another reason I wanted to try this amp was to try a newer class D amp. I'm used to living with class A/AB tubes and/or…
