Not much to say here - your notes show a weight of 1lb. I find this too heavy for a belt drive turntable, but this is what is most commonly found in turntable stabilizers. Adding foam to the bottom. Please note: On Rega turntables, this weight is too heavy to close the dust cover while playing.

Product basically works as advertised but wish it was a lot thinner. It's too high! I have a Fluance RT81 with a fairly tall dust cover, but even so it was too big to fully cover it. It also slows the player down by around 1-2% (tested with the RPM app on my iPhone), although that's more to do with my player not being able to accommodate the extra weight. Just something to think about.

I read a review of these LP weights in an audio magazine review. The reviewer was surprised that they could measure the difference in weight. The differences are less trills and sustained bass. So I ordered this weight and with my trained ear I can hear the difference the reviewer wrote about. This is irrelevant. Less warbling, and the bass is consistent and accurate. I believe that the weight dampens the vertical movement of the arm due to the slight buckling of the record.
