🏍️ Black Titanium LS2 Helmets Horizon Axis Modular Helmet with SunShield - X-Small Review

I am 55 years old and have been riding motorcycles since I was 12 years old. This is the best helmet I've ever had! I have always used size XL to minimize pressure points but bought the large and it fits great. I want the visor to have multiple positions, not open or closed. I think you can't have everything.

I love this helmet. The fabric inside is soft and pleasant to the touch. Before that I had a different helmet that didn't fit my rather oval head, so my forehead hurt. Tried it out at a local bike shop and loved it, but ordering it from Revain was a bit cheaper, so we did.

Bought this helmet for cold weather and was not disappointed. Hermetic seals when closed greatly reduce air leakage. Bought XL, a bit tight but comfortable. I expect it to fit better once it's broken in. In addition, the head did not shake at high speeds. Haven't warned about it in warmer weather but looking forward to it. The flip down visor works great too. So far no complaints.

Almost got it back thinking it was too small. Open the entire front, then pull the sides out a little and slip them on. I rode all day today and it was MUCH better than my Bell helmet, a pretty good helmet. Quieter, softer to the touch, super cool flip top sunglasses if that's what you want. Great clear overview. Blah blah blah I just have to say I love this helmet. Wear it out and buy another one in a few years.

I need a modular helmet that I can open my face in so I can easily talk to people at bus stops. This helmet makes it possible. Best of all, the sun visor is activated by slide buttons, so you don't have to carry another visor on brighter days. The helmet, although on the narrow side (I bought an M), is still somewhat comfortable. I hope the upholstery will break if I keep riding it. Folding up and down works well. The helmet blocks most unwanted road noise. Good value for money.

Avid Cycles sold this helmet in good condition. It is pristine except for a slight stiffness in hue. The helmet came in the same box, with helmet bag and all tags. I love this helmet and I love Avid. Please note that this helmet works correctly. Normally I can wear XL, but I ordered XXL and it fits me perfectly. This is the nicest helmet I have ever had. I've had a few HJC helmets and a few other brands' helmets (so I haven't had any top-of-the-line helmets) but this is by far my favorite. It inspires confidence, it's light, it feels high quality and safe! I really can't ask for more. I would imagine a $500 helmet would be even better, but I'm very happy with it. I highly recommend it. I'm new to riding (about a year) so not a helmet expert but I've been wearing it for a few months now and can give my impression. The fit seems good, although I probably should have gone a size up as it leaves an imprint on my forehead and maybe a little tight on my jaw, but even then I'm not uncomfortable.
