Twin shield system Drop down sunshield is operated by a cable slider for smooth and dependable sun protection. Chin bar flips 180 degrees allowing the rider to easily swap between a full face or open face helmet. Removable, washable comfort padding is breathable and hypoallergenic. The DOT approved Valiant is homologated as both a full face and an open face helmet. Ultra-light, strong yet flexible shell using LS2's proprietary Kinetic polymer alloy (KPA). All LS2 visors are bulit with 3D Optically Correct "A Class" Polycarbonate that avoids distortion and offers maximum clarity.

They run small in protective gear

I like this helmet but they are very small. I usually wear a medium helmet as I ordered. This medium puts too much pressure on my head 😒

I love this helmet. Well made, less noisy and comfortable.

Very good helmet, I find it easier to put on than others and it goes well with my glasses. It's well made and comfortable. I find the noise level lower than other helmets I've worn.

Protective gear saved my life

I had an accident at 60 mph and flew about 40 feet. I bruised my ankle and developed a rash all over my body. All that's left of him is a decent bruise. Needless to say, this helmet can certainly be a bit uncomfortable here, but I live and will buy another one. I didn't buy it from Amazon but it still deserves a 5 star rating on #DONDI.

Modular design is awesome. Riding with the chin bar backwards is great and .

The modular design is convincing. Riding the bar backwards is great, and when it gets chilly, slam it back. It's roomy enough to keep the sun visor away from my glasses which is very important, love it. The wind noise seemed slightly better than my other helmets, but not enough to influence my purchase decision. Also in full face mode, and this is subjective, it seems to be more stable than other helmets at highway speeds. Fit is great.

Great helmet: protective gear

I wish I had known about this helmet before I bought my Bilt EVO. The LS2 Valiant is very comfortable and lighter than the Bilt EVO modular helmet. I like that the modular lift is at the back instead of stopping at the front. Now I drive with the safety window open. I've read other reviews that said the helmet makes a lot of wind noise; I beg to differ. In my opinion it is quieter than Bilt. Any modular helmet generates more wind noise than a full-face helmet. I love the features and the price.

I originally ordered this helmet on the LS2 website for the small size but the chart was wrong or I have a more oval head than I thought. Medium was the right size for my 56cm head. Having tried many modular helmets, this was the only one that didn't make my face feel like it was holding a brick when I lifted my chin. With full reverse rotation, the weight is evenly balanced and very comfortable in both the closed and open positions. As I wear glasses it's really a shame I don't have a breath…
