Ridges won't flatten out after a few days of airing on level ground

I've given this a 1 star because it doesn't work. Combs that run across the mattress don't go away. 2 inches in some places but not everywhere. My photos show both sides and yellow spots. If it flattened out I could live with yellow spots. I really needed it for our guest to hide the bed and I'm disappointed. It's going to be difficult to box and return, but $45 is way too much for something that can't be used at all. It seems I could get a defective one, but what a problem.

Pros
  • GOLS Certificate
Cons
  • Some minor issues

Don't be scared straight out of the box.

I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by this rug. I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive but good enough to sleep in our trailer for a week. Right out of the box, this rug looks a little intimidating. I was definitely worried. But I read the reviews, so I knew it would take some time to sit down and puff up. It definitely worked. It had a slight new smell but it went away overnight. I've added photos including before and after photos and you can check out my unboxing…

Upgrade your mattress

Before my husband and I bought this mattress we thought our mattress needed an upgrade. The mattress may only be a year old, but it's not as comfortable as it used to be. So before we dropped a few grand, I looked for a mattress topper. I bought it thinking it was memory foam and when I got it in the mail I was very disappointed at first that it was foam. (Completely my fault because the description says FOAM) Anyway I thought I'd send it back because to be honest it looked really pathetic but…

  • Sure even to the old one

Two make a good extra bed

I ordered two of these but I don't use them as toppers but as extra beds. Laying them together on the floor and covering them with a quilt makes a decent spare bed, much better than the memory foam type that's soft at first but then you sink into it until it practically touches the floor and makes it hard power. instead of soft. It's better than a standard mattress and better than the 4 inch or 6 inch thick version (at least for me) because I don't have space to store such a thick item. These…

Spend less money on your mattress and buy one.

If I had always known this was an option I could have spent less on the mattress itself. This is a very convenient addition to any bed. I used to sleep with multiple layers of thinner pads but since I bought the other pads they are out of date. It's hard to describe as it's quite hard but soft enough to sink into. I literally sat down and smiled because I was surprised at how well it hides and completely masks the feel of a traditional box spring. It is not elastic, just a learned and stable…

perfect foam fill

I've spent thousands of dollars making my bed perfect. My body always hurt. I bought a numbered bed to sleep in, it was fine but got hot. I bought foam pads, gel pads, a cooling mattress topper to cool down a hot memory foam topper. Mattress topper with springs. sneaked in and met me in the middle of the night. I am a 61 year old athlete, my body screams at the end of the day and I need rest at night. I was hard as a board and SOOO hot. I was hesitant to try another foam product and I…

Pros
  • High test results for support and durability

  • Not as thick as other options
