Great shoe for the money. Looks the same as in the pictures. I usually wear a size 12 but these 12s were a little tight in the toes. Given the material, I'm guessing this will stretch out a bit over time, so I'm not too worried. But if you are arguing between two sizes, I would be wrong to choose the larger size.

I wouldn't buy them again for a number of reasons. First, because they were clearly setbacks. There was a very pale (but large) stain on one of the shoes, like someone had spilled water on it, and then dusty dirt got on the water and left a stain. They fit much better than other brands, I bought locally before they disappeared from the shelves. I wear a size 11 and regular same size brands, always start a little tight and then stretch. When I first bought these shoes I was impressed by how light and comfortable these slippers were. I usually go through 3 different pairs of shoes a week (running, dress, casual/these shoes) so I don't wear a pair, but I didn't have much money this semester so I dropped the dress shoes and ended on with this. My college aged son is a regular customer of this style of shoe and now especially this brand. He wears them for several months and when after many miles of running they finally look worn and dirty I order him a new pair. The price matches the quality and he's always willing to replace them with a new pair in gray or black. We really liked these shoes. It looked great and we knew it would last our son long enough for him to outgrow it. BUT these shoes run VERY small. We ordered 1.0 size larger than he is comfortable wearing now and his foot barely fits in. As a result, we ordered Union Bay loafers in the same size 8.5. When I received them, they fit me perfectly. I bought these as my everyday work shoes and they were great for the first two weeks. After two weeks I started to feel how thin the sole had become and noticed that the shoe was already falling apart. I stopped wearing them every day but they broke so quickly. In less than two months, the profile has almost completely disappeared. Don't buy them unless you plan on wearing them a day or two a week. I am very disappointed in these shoes.
