📷 Lumens DC125 Ladibug: Ultra-Light HD Document Camera with 30fps Review

I am a teacher and I bought this document camera at the beginning of the pandemic. It definitely served its function in my daily schedules. I've used it for directing sketches, introducing new materials and reading picture books in class. It's very easy to use. The camera fully corresponds to the description and previous reviews. If you are looking for a basic camera to work with, then this is the perfect option for you.

This wonderful visualizer works great. It is easy to use and the image projected on the screen is clear and easy to read. I ordered this for our calligraphers guild to project a teacher demo so everyone can see what he/she is doing to get letterforms. Many members of our guild commented how great it was to see the demonstration on the screen.

Our school bought three of these devices and installed the Ladibug 3.0 software on three different laptops. On each laptop, the scaling feature is disabled; all other functions in Ladibug work perfectly. We searched the internet for troubleshooting tips and implemented what we found. Bought this camera for my 7 year old so he can surf the internet via Zoom with his literacy teacher. It works great with my Windows 10 Toshiba laptop and with Zoom. I couldn't get it to work with our MAC desktop, but it's too old to update to the latest versions of iOS, so I suspect that's the problem. Based on other reviewers' comments, I downloaded the IPEVO software, not the Lumens software. The IPEVO software recognizes the camera and works properly.

I bought this to use in my kindergarten class. It's much easier to project the book so they can see me pointing my finger at each word. :) It requires software to work. THIS IS NOT PLUG AND PLAY. DOWNLOAD AND PLAY. I was able to download the software to my laptop, but the school desktop either didn't install the software or gave me a message saying there was not enough power to download the driver via USB. I desperately needed a document camera to take my courses online. All I can say about this Ladibug DC125 is that it works. But hardly. A week later I was getting ready for class and the camera wasn't working - I had to reinstall the Ladibug program to get it working again. The program was written for Windows XP and Windows Vista.
