Damaged my car with external accessories

Product is advertised as a long haul durable rack but on first drive I used a rack that does lower and the trunk is angrily hurled at my car until I can safely pull off the freeway. I will request a full refund and reparation for the damage caused to my new car.

Pros
  • Attaches to an existing roof rack with strong straps for ease of installation and removal
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Best fit for our trip

Bought for a trip to Yosemite. I didn't want to invest in a hard carrier solution because my minivan lease expires next year. It fits 4 soft-sided holdalls and a few bags of beach towels and toys. Probably more could have been added but I didn't want to go over the suggested Β£100 limit. When the front straps started rattling, we just tucked them under the bag to fix the problem. The weight of the luggage held them and the rumble stopped. The instructions are vague, to ensure the carrier doesn't

Pros
  • Over 11 cubic feet of storage
Cons
  • Almost OK

good for casual travelers

We installed this on our Sienna and drove 900 miles to New Mexico. He was able to defy rain and hail because everything stayed dry. The two main complaints about this product are that it's not exactly aerodynamic and the zipper isn't smooth. At 80 miles per hour, the wind crushed the front of the aircraft carrier so that it looked like a rectangular box. The zipper works but it was very difficult to unify at the corners. And the last thing I should mention is that it was difficult to open it to

Pros
  • sealed to prevent leaks
Cons
  • poorly thought out

So far, so good. Looks great.

First of all, "11 cubic feet" doesn't mean much to me, so if you're interested in the dimensions of this bag, look under no Can't find information on the Lund website either). The dimensions listed on the box are 44 x 36 x 16 inches (L, W, H). So far I've filled it with six letter-size, stackable white card stock like you'll find at Office Depot (15.5 x 12.5 x 11 inches). ) for your backlog (from Willamette) aren't easy at first glance, but believe it or not, there's plenty of room for them…

Pros
  • Made from durable, waterproof, fiberglass-reinforced material for durability
Cons
  • Getting in trouble

DOES NOT attach to "existing roof rack "

Product description states it will attach to an existing roof rack - this will only work if your vehicle has side bars, not for us who have front/rear racks (which is not stated in the product information). It can be installed through doors but not if you have sliding doors where it gets in the way. Basically I bought these for expedited shipping because I realized I needed a roof bag to carry all the extra gear my twin babies needed for a long weekend trip (Thanksgiving was their first trip)…

Pros
  • Bevelled front deflects water and air for a more aerodynamic design
Cons
  • None
