I bought this leash for our second dog because we liked the reverse latch. This is much better than a regular linen clasp. To my dismay the leash came with a different clasp than what is shown in the picture or in the description. I am very disappointed and will be returning the leash.

Almost as good as the leash I dream of. I wanted a smaller fastener that wouldn't hit the dog. This is the smallest strong clasp I've found. I wasn't expecting such a big pen. It is perfectly padded and durable. It fits perfectly in your hand. It's also easy and convenient to wrap the leash around your hand when a shorter leash is needed. Fantastic! I can only recommend that. It is very strong and durable (I have a 65 lb dog who has been known to carry a leash in his mouth). The color is beautiful and the grip is comfortable. The clasp is strong and durable, opens and closes easily (but holds tight!) and has held up well to machine washing. I would definitely buy this leash again!

I've only used it a couple of times but the grip is really comfortable and I have a 60lb puller. I used a dog bike leash made from recycled bike tires. I liked it, but if it gets wet (rain, swimming, etc.), hands and clothes will be black. I hope this is the best alternative.
