The ONLY time I shampooed my hair before cutting and styling it, my back got wet. So I bought this item hoping to solve the problem. Very happy (and dry) it worked beautifully. I'm so glad I got it!

It's a decent kimono, light weight which is nice but as it's a one size fits all only smaller sizes. I'm 5ft 7in, 165lbs and the fabrics barely overlap. I have enough room in my shoulders/arms and overall cut, but for this to be really comfortable the front panels need to be wider to allow for a decent amount of overlap. If you are curvy or tall, the strap does not close completely and the strap is too short. The material is bad. It's thin, scratchy, and not waterproof—barely waterproof. It's so thin that personally I wouldn't trust it to block the paint from what's underneath. I believe and accept that in life you get what you pay for and I do not verify the price of the premium robe that professional barbers use but I expect this particular robe to be sold in the store for 99 cents not 10 .
