Perfect, easy to install. Just follow the instructions.

Yes, 1000 watts worked very well. Especially since I have 14 small watt bulbs to turn on. I love the dimming function to set the atmosphere.

1000W Dimmer: Outlets

An electrician installed a 600W Lutron dimmer for the kitchen. Runs 800 watts through 6 lamps. He always felt hot. So we bought a 1000W dimmer from the same brand. It still feels hot. I know that dimmer creates resistance and resistance creates heat. But I'm not happy with that. I will keep looking for the best product.

Still hot with 1000 watts

I bought this because I had 1000 watts on a switch that was getting hot so I wanted to make sure it would meet the requirements. This switch also got hot and I still had concerns. After reading the instructions I found that the 1000w rating is very misleading. They recommend something like 600w or 800w, and 1000w is only for peak usage like peak usage. The way they worded it eludes me, but it wasn't meant to be used all the time for the advertised 1000 watts. Disappointing for a $65 light…
