I fitted this to my Husqvarna mower in about 10 seconds with no problems. Great addition and the bubble glass at the end makes a huge difference. The only way to go if you want LEDs

I installed them last fall and used them for maybe 2 hours total before one of them blew. I took apart the bulb to see what happened. It turns out to be a bad solder between the control circuit and the LED matrix. The chain dangled in the bulb. This is very bad. They seemed really well built and the lighting was good. They just don't last. I will probably switch to standard bulbs.

Most lawnmowers and mowers are equipped with trailer/turn signal lamps as headlights. If you're really trying to see what you're doing at night, they're practically useless. Swap out those old trailer light bulbs for these super bright LED replacements and the difference will be literally night and day! I bought extra ones as gifts for my neighbors who have lawn tractors, they are so good.

As described, very good value for money. 5 times brighter than standard bulbs in JD 140. Can mow at night if needed or shine when you need light to work on something. Don't forget to bend the tab in the socket if you have trouble with flickering lightbulbs. A common problem with this type of sockets. People think it's a lightbulb when it's just a bad connection because it makes very little contact with the socket.

Yeah I had one of those moments with the boys. I had to show my neighbors how bright the headlights on my new lawnmower were. He was impressed (too bad my neighbor isn't Tim Taylor). Let's fast forward a week. The right light is not on. I checked all the connections and thought it was a hardware problem somewhere in the lawnmower. The left side will be missing next week. I bought these bulbs for my John Deere self-propelled lawn mower. I think they soak up tractor vibrations much better than incandescent bulbs (which had broken filaments). I just put them on yesterday (3/5/16) and they are bright. I've noticed that most of the others had higher lumens, but I'm not too familiar with that scale. I bought enough to replace the bulbs in 3 all season garden tractors, all worked great and are still bright. They were packaged so well my wife bought them considered expensive watches. I installed them on my Craftsman mower (headlight bulbs). Definitely a very noticeable improvement in lighting --- over the old "factory" 1156 bulbs. (You can't look directly at these bulbs at night - they really are that bright.) See photos in this review. I wouldn't put LED spotlights on my mower's hood if I saw these bulbs first.
