Lychee Glowing Strobing Electroluminescent Robbin Review

Looked pretty cool for the 2 minutes that lasted. It stopped glowing when the controller stopped working properly. It looks like the controller died because I replaced the controller with another one and the item started working again. Funny but very unreliable - order at your own risk. At the end of the night 1 of the 2 items ordered was still working. (The other item was a 15 foot long blue glow wire from the same manufacturer.)

neon lights work perfectly and even better than expected. I used these neon lights for cosplay, I bought three of these and they are long and perfect. They have 3 modes: blinking, steady light and slow blinking; Nothing I expected. They can be glued. Can be closed with tape. Can be glued with hot glue. Very bright glow on this El Tape. When removing the protective plastic layer, be very careful not to remove the plastic front side of the tape. I recommend using a strong fabric glue like E9000 to attach it to the fabric. This adhesive is strong yet flexible and this means your webbing will not cross threads to ensure a continuous glow. I decided not to try cutting and regluing this ribbon as it looks really nice. I used duct tape to build my Tron jacket, photos are attached.

I ordered 4 pieces, they arrived and everything worked. Unfortunately, I had to deduct 1 star because the "blue" layer on 1 of the devices had completely detached from the underlying EL strip. Some of the blue had peeled off the outer layer as well, so there wasn't really a way to salvage it. To keep the outer layer from peeling off the entire strip, I had to cut off about 1.5 feet of it and then use clear tape to seal the tip. I bought this product for a school project so I figured it wouldn't last very long. We ordered this EL ribbon for stage costumes and I have to say it works very well - the ribbon is exactly as described although the color is a bit difficult to match explain text; it's somewhere between blue and light blue.
