Great insulated battery cover for winter riding, fits well

I have a Bosch powered Haibike XDURO ALLMNT and my detachable battery is a Bosch PowerPack 500 and this neoprene cover fits well, I need an insulated jacket for cold weather. Ride to keep the battery warmer for more power.

Pros
  • Sport and outdoors
Cons
  • Minor issues

A bit small for my bike's battery, but he still carries it.

A magazine recently recommended one of these for battery care. I bought this but despite the elasticity of the neoprene I find it about 3/4 inch too small for my Haibike battery. But this is one. and maybe that will make it last longer.” My Chevy Volt works hard to keep its battery happy.

Works fairly well with Bosch PowerPack 500

I bought two of these batteries for my Bosch PowerPack 500 batteries. Don't quite fit the handle but they do what they're supposed to and for the price you can't beat them. I drove them 45 miles in turbo mode in 40 degrees Fahrenheit and the batteries are about half dead which is what I would expect in normal temperatures. I have yet to see how well they work in winter; I suspect they are suitable for spring and fall, but additional insulation is required in winter.

Pros
  • electric bikes
Cons
  • Mostly good but...
