Bought big and cut big. I bought it because the last one was exactly the same, a year later the zipper on it broke. I would have bought a different type but this was the only jacket that offered the combination of what I was looking for. Something great for chilly mornings and evenings in fall and spring, and waterproof to boot. I found many jackets that were only waterproof but not warm, or simply warmer jackets for the transitional season, but none were waterproof and vice versa.

I ordered this jacket in two different colors and hid it for a month as we didn't need it. The black is great - thick enough and like the windproof shell I was hoping for. It's a slightly different fabric than the green jacket (the green is more like the shell material I've seen on adult/branded jackets). However, the green has turned the zipper upside down, making it impossible to close! Very upset about this as my returns window just closed and I now have a 5 year old with a zip up jacket. My

I bought size 6 for my almost 5 year old. She is tall for her age, 45 inches. With a long and lean physique. She's wearing 5 or 6 Carter's Or Target shirts.
