🥗 Mabel Home Salad Spinner Review: 5.5 Quart Vegetable Spinner with Bonus Salt & Pepper Shaker Review

I bought two of these for my daughter as gifts. They loved it until they used it and couldn't figure out why the lettuce leaves weren't drying the way they should. I concluded that both spinners did not have water discharge holes in the outer bowl. I just realized that. Very nice but unusable for its intended purpose.

I searched the internet for the best deal on a salad or fruit and vegetable washing drum because the original one I saw was too expensive. I bought this one, it was a pretty celadon color, this item has a few parts that you may want to wash beforehand but once you get it working it works like a charm and does the job well. Probably the best product for the price offered :)

My granddaughter and I grow lettuce, spinach and kale and use this spinner after washing our crops. She loves to twist it and dry the leaves. This is perfect for kale which we dry and then put in the dehydrator because she loves kale chips. I'm not sure I really like that it doesn't have drainage holes on the bottom. First of all I love that it comes in multiple colors as the red goes well with everything else in my red kitchen. You can put it in a closet and stack other things on top. I'm also very happy with the size, 5.5 liters is more than enough for me. Sometimes I have to wash more food, I just have to do it in batches.
