Used to upgrade the hard drive in a Mac Mini PPC. Worked as expected, loaded via firewire. Most PDAs can't boot from USB, so this was the perfect solution. The speed seems almost as fast as if the drive were internal. The standard disk utilities in OS X worked great for formatting and transferring data. QUALIFICATIONS This case fits standard 2.5" IDE or PATA (Parallel ATA) laptop drives. For Macs, that means most iBooks and Powerbook G3s. G4 and G4 drives work.
