Easy to draw

I can't remember why I bought this backing, but it was probably for two dolls I made. However, I have not used this for dolls. I'm an artist and found this support very good for painting. It is best to draw with a pencil or ballpoint pen that does not spread. The base is porous. The texture of this material is almost like a smooth canvas and if you love to paint like I do, I think you will enjoy this material. You can also use this for magazine paper. I have two blank leather bound covers that…

Pros
  • High quality, average weight 1.8 ounces
Cons
  • So far so good

The stabilizer is excellent, works well, I did not find any flaws.

I use tons of this stuff. I'm so spoiled for the already cut pieces. This stabilizer is great, works well and I haven't found any flaws in any of the 300 that I can think of. The only reason I gave it 4 stars (wish I would have given it 4 1/2) is because the sheets would be better if they were 8" x 9". The 4x4 hoop is actually 5" x 7", and fitting that 8" x 8" arc into the 5" x 7" hoop can be tricky at times on the 7" side. They would be absolutely perfect if they were 8 x 9 or even 7 x 9. But…

Pros
  • Suitable for 4x4 tires
Cons
  • boring packaging

Tears off easily and keeps embroidery in place

I first bought a tear away embroidery stabilizer from Walmart, it was much tougher and stiffer than this. But it's a little softer. But does the job. There were no problems with broken threads or embroidery. As you can see in the photo, I used a layer of navy blue organza silk and one of those stabilizers and it worked just great! I bought this because it is already cut to fit my tire. I think that way you won't waste it. Cut the roll one smaller, the other larger. But this one is better. After

Pros
  • 100 8" x 8" finished sheets
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
