Ideal screws for thick drawers

I had to buy these for kitchen cabinet drawers as the size of regular screws didn't take into account the extra wood of the drawer. They fit perfectly for this purpose and did not undress at all. Also the perfect size (as expected since we measured the expected length of the screw).

  • Industrial & Scientific

What You Need for Cabinet and Drawer Handles

These screws are the standard size used for cabinet handles and drawers and they work great. When you measure, you should choose a size that has about a quarter inch of a screw sticking out of it that you can bolt the handle to. Anything much longer, and the handle cannot be fully tightened.

Pros
  • Screws
Cons
  • Thin

Non-standard themes? And weak steel...

Purchased to finish installing some cabinet handles. (Supplied screws were too short for some drawers.) They pulled out easily. I suspect the threads are slightly off specification - the force required increased the deeper the screws were set. Hole. (I had no problem with magazine packs when the bolts.) Also, the steel is weak - the heads cracked at lower torque levels than I expected. Not recommended.

  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Large and bulky
