I would give this product five stars for its quality and color but when I was cutting the threads for my macrame I came across a knot connecting the two strands of cord. I don't know if this is normal, but I assumed the cable was one piece. It's okay, I just haven't used this strand, but just something to note.

So this worked great for my beginner project which was a chandelier for my son's room. I believe another reviewer said the cable changes about a quarter - it shrinks when looking at the end. Although it didn't bother me. What bothers me is the smell. Some musty musty smell that was hard to get rid of. On the other hand, it arrived very quickly - the next day.

I'm new to macrame but I was particularly interested in making plant hangers. I wasn't sure what size cord to go with as it affects the aesthetic, but this cord and accessory was a good start. I have already made 10 plant hangers and there is still cord left! The cord is beautiful, strong, enough for a long time. Excellent purchase! (The driftwood on a hanger was my own addition.)
