Bought for my 7 year old. We immediately started working on the quilt and found that 3 pieces were full of holes and the entire pile was covered in clumps of dust (e.g. lint from the dryer). Now we need to make it shorter so we don't use the parts with holes. I was very disappointed with the poor quality. I would have sent it back but my daughter has been working on it diligently and said she didn't need anything because I didn't have enough noise.

I used these kits for a sewing and quilting week at summer camp. I had to help my 7 year old daughter a little to get her started but my older girls (8,9,11) started and finished almost the same day. The patches included in the kit do not adhere very well with the adhesive included in the kit. Maybe my glue was old, I'm not sure. Overall this was a great value and a great craft for our summer camp theme.

Cute and good material for the price. But somehow it's difficult to tie knots. The picture makes it seem easy, and pretty much it is. But the tying process is troublesome because the strands are so short and not easy to tie quickly. You have to do each one slowly and it will hurt after a while. and almost like manually tying one balloon at a time. My daughter lost interest in it and didn't find it funny
