A cute “ fountain” sound

A very inexpensive way to have a cute gurgling fountain sound …. BUT it will only work in any container whose water is deep enough & with DIRECT sun. Any clouds at all & it stops spouting . So it requires work to keep evaporated water replaced but with it all for so little $ it’s enjoyable.

Pros
  • 6.69 x 6.61 x 1.73 inches
Cons
  • The pump may be too weak to push water through dirty or murky water

Evaporates water very quickly

Stronger than expected! Spray does go about 2 feet high so the birdbath dried right out. So it seems to need a large volume of water, plus at first it was putting out a tiny bit of oily substance. Seemed ok in the swimming pool but couldn’t be sure it’s safe for use in birdbath even if we had one deep enough to not dry out.

Pros
  • Reduces the risk of clogged or damaged pumps, which can harm fish and plant life
Cons
  • The fountain may not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of algae growth

Too splashy for bird bath

I bought this to attract birds to my new bird bath. I took it out of the box and put it in the bath and it works great. I bird watch while I work. 2 hours later, the fountain was no longer working. It had splashed all of the water out of the bird bath. I brought it into the house tell try to switch out the fountain head to one less splashy. They don’t fit. Not a single one of the interchangeable heads will fit on it. Now I’m trying to figure out a way to rig it so I can actually use it.

Pros
  • Four nozzle options allow you to customize the fountain's appearance and flow
Cons
  • The pump may not be as efficient as traditional electric bird bath pumps

Cute little fountain

Cute little fountain. Allows me to have a small fountain in an area where I don’t have electricity. The birds love it. Only downfall is that it is so hot that the water in the bird bath evaporates and I have to refill it 3 or more times a day.

Pros
  • We have had some hot days. The solar panels on top are discolored. It still works.
Cons
  • The fountain is not suitable for use in colder climates with less consistent sunlight

Scares the birds! - my new review

It does just about everything the description says. We bought it for a water station for out multiple bird visitors. Oh, it attracts them, but the flow is not steady and occasionally it will stop and start again with water shooting in the air -- the birds leave -- fast!

Pros
  • 9.1 ounces
Cons
  • The bird bath may be too shallow for birds to bathe in comfortably

Check back later after more sun

Update: I tried several different spouts to achieve a small gurgle. Hummingbirds just want moving water, not necessarily a fountain spray. Besides, the slightest breeze causes the water level to go down, due to losing water from overspray. For some reason, I set the fountain back in the water while choosing the next sprayer attachment, and got the perfect result with no attachment! It barely gurgles, which is exactly what I wanted! It only runs in bright sunlight. It doesn’t store energy, so it

Pros
  • Cost-effective solution to powering water features
Cons
  • The fountain may require frequent replacement of parts due to cheap manufacturing

It's okay needs FULL sun

Not disappointed because I read the reviews. It does need direct full sun to work, so it's not for a shady spot. Mine spits sporadically until the sun is fully up on it, then in the afternoon it's in the shade so no go. But that's okay. It works quite well when it's sunny.

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Just put in the water, the pump will start to work in 3s once exposed to sufficient sunlight, perfect for bird bath, fish tank, small pond, pool, garden decoration, water circulation for oxygen.
Cons
  • The fountain may not be suitable for use in areas with hard water

Works as advertised, but uses up water very quickly.

It works well when in full sunlight, but, depending on the size of the water container, you may need to refill it often. The instructions say to never let it go dry.

Pros
  • Automatically turns on and off with sunlight, saving energy
Cons
  • The bird bath may not be deep enough for birds to enjoy

Great in the direct sun

I took 2 photos at the same time of day when the sun is rising in the sky. In the first photo, the fountain is flat in the birdbath and has a low bubble. When I slid it over so it tilted slightly toward the sun, the spray really started going. I am happy with the performance, but be aware that it likes direct sun.

Pros
  • Resistant to wear and tear and weather damage
Cons
  • The fountain may not be able to withstand wildlife attempts to drink from it

Solar Bird Bath Fountain

don't get an air bubble under the fountain when placing it in the pond as the fountain will go on and off. The bird bath may be too small for multiple birds to use at once.

Pros
  • Durable and high-quality construction ensures long-lasting use
Cons
  • The bird bath may be too small for multiple birds to use at once

When I first set it up in our bird bath, I thought it was defective.it just kept spitting rhythmically. BUT, later, it was a steady fine spray. I realized it was sensitive to cloudy days! There was no real assembly, just pop on whatever spray head included, BUT the spray is so fine, the wind just blew it out of the bird bath.so.keep an eye on the water level.Tip: if the water level is running low, or you want it to stop, you can either put something over it to block the light, like a flower pot,

Pros
  • Eliminates the need for constantly changing the water in birdbaths
Cons
  • The pump may not be strong enough to push water through long tubing

Very easy to assemble and worked fine until the sun moved in the sky and produce was in shadow. It immediately stopped working. I assumed it would store power and continue to work when in shade.

Pros
  • Adds a calming and peaceful ambiance to any outdoor space
Cons
  • The fountain may not be able to accommodate different nozzle designs

Nice Yard Adornment

I really like this cordless little fountain. I have it in a large bowl that I had been using as a bird bath. It fits perfectly and it's nice to see the fountain of water spraying up about a foot. The only problem I've had is when the wind blows the water spout so it splashes out of the bowl and runs out of water. I rigged a siphon from a pail of water but that detracts from the overall scene. I plan to add a wind block to prevent this problem. Something more attractive than a large pail! lol I…

Pros
  • No electricity or batteries required for operation
Cons
  • The fountain may not be suitable for use in areas with high levels of sediment or debris

needs direct sunlight

the unit works great as long as it has direct sunlight on it. when the sun dims a little it does not pump. right now the sun is changing angles as it sets so it does not pump as long even while it is still very light out.

Pros
  • Able to float on any water surface for a unique look
Cons
  • The fountain may be too difficult to repair if it breaks down
