MagGrip Magnetic Holder Compatible MagSafe Review

If you look at the video I made, the bracket is held together with a small screw that can be easily disassembled. I see that in the future it will break and my phone will fall. The reason I bought this mount was the minimalistic design which I really like. We'll see how it holds up over time, but the quality isn't great.

I was skeptical about this product because of the low price but was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked! The magnet is very strong and works great. The mounting clip leaves a little to be desired, but this thing is inexpensive enough and works well enough to be overlooked. This is a pretty good product.

I used to have a magnetic phone mount for my iPhone 11, but I bought an iPhone 13 and the old mount wasn't strong enough. This mount is very strong and holds the new iPhone with a built in plate that holds it in place very well. The fit is secure and easily snaps onto our car's air vent.

What I don't like about this car mount. It fits perfectly with my CX-5 deflectors. Grips the vents very tightly and holds my iPhone 12 Pro with a MagSafe case very snugly. I had an old TechMatte magnetic holder that I really liked. This one is slightly larger in diameter but thinner and no less durable. I don't like big mounts that hang a few inches above the dashboard so this mount is perfect for me!

Not difficult to set up at all and can't comment on durability yet but the magnet is STRONG and I hope my phone stays on it. It can be two strong if you need two hands to safely remove it so you don't break the vent, but it's a minor inconvenience for me. Where you put the phone and where the magnet is, there's an odd dip. It doesn't matter much, but it's noticeable. The clip itself looks like it's going to continue.

Not for 12 Pro Max as it's a little heavier or not sure if I have a broken one, the phone kept falling. Didn't feel safe. Not recommended for 12 pro max. The mounting handle on the vent was solid and secure but the magnet wasn't that strong! Move on to something else, don't waste your time! Update: got a replacement! Keeps my 12pro max in one place! Doesn't have the magnetic power of the MagSafe charger, but I can say with confidence it won't fall off!

I've been using these vent adapters for a while. Normally I would take an adapter and stick one of those steel plates into the case to hold the phone. This is no longer required on new iPhones. That thing is very sticky. Better than I thought it would work. It's very durable and my phone never feels like it's about to be dropped.
