Cool stuff. It didn't stand up on its own, but worked great once the bottle was put in place. The finish was a bit cheap, but you get over that once you've put it up somewhere and can admire it. Not something you see every day and it was cheap. I love it and would buy it again.

We love the concept and look of this bottle cage. Our only complaint is that most wine stoppers don't go through a hole. Since we wanted to give it as a gift, we naturally wanted to include a bottle. This turned out to be the hardest part, finding a bottle that fit in there so the recipient could try it right away.

My wife bought one of these as a gift and we loved it so much we bought it for ourselves. We then bought more of these as gifts. They hold the wine bottle easily, almost impossible - the chain has to bend and drop the bottle, but it's welded(?). We haven't tried it with anything larger than a regular 3/4 liter wine bottle, so I don't know if it will fit a double size bottle. We've only used it a couple of times so I don't know how durable the chrome finish will be.

In the picture the chain looks like a continuous stream. However, I had a 45 degree angle where the chain rose from the base giving the impression that it was on a stand. I've played around with this a bit as it's somewhat malleable except on a 45 degree no link opening connection; The corner is also welded so the corner itself will not bend. It also increased the angle at which the bottle "floated," making it too steep. BTW, to another 3 star reviewer, his change also prevented the product…
