I received battery operated garlands. I used their circuit in the stained glass front door to our house, the constant changing of batteries was convenient but most importantly wasteful. I was thrilled to discover a solar powered product existed. I don't care much how effective this set will be. Because I wasn't sure if the stainglass would let in enough light to charge this string of lights. Luckily it works great, I'm so happy I'll probably be ordering more for other projects.

I sawed a 'dwarf' tree and houses with the chainsaw and wanted to light up the 176 stairs that were cut out, but I liked the wires on some of them not the other views (rich green). We love these things. They have worked great for several months with no problems. We have one with a solar panel in the window and lights in a jar on the mantel, even with partial sun they glow brightly most of the night. The other is outside and has weathered Florida's climate admirably, withstanding rain and the scorching sun. They charge very well, one of them was wrapped around the solar panel in my car and still managed to get enough power to light up all night on our hike. They're not…
