Will die fast forever

These batteries are the same as other reviewers wrote, old stock, they have been charged maybe half a dozen times and as it was the original magnetic battery lasted for years with the right charging habits, she was mag lite batt but it lasted 1 month with the same charging habits sucks don't waste your money put it on mag lite direct batt you will thank me!

Pros
  • Elegant design

The battery pack is shorter than the Streamlight brand battery pack.

If you're buying a Streamlight SL-20X flashlight battery, this battery will fit. However, it is about 1/4 inch shorter than the Streamlight brand battery pack. You will need some sort of metal spacer, e.g. B. washers, use to make electrical contact. Once "MacGyvered" works fine.

5 years old and still great!

Ordering a different battery to replace the original NiCad in the second Mag charger I own. I removed the battery to get the part number and was surprised at how long it lasted. I bought the battery in 5/2015 and was concerned the manufacture date was 2013. So far the Intec battery has worked well. I am very happy.

  • Great for me

doesn't last long (works fine now)

this battery is already dead my original lasted many years this crap 1 year. UPDATE: Spoke to a Maglite tech. and found that it wasn't charging even though the light indicated it was charging as I hadn't changed the charging base. I installed a charging station with LED lights and the battery charges well. Thanks Maglite, sorry I knocked the product out before checking the issue.

They're getting expensive, but what are you going to do?

If you want your old MagCharger torch to keep working, you need to replace the batteries after 4 or 5 years. And they're NiMH, not LiON, so older technology. No doubt why the price is rising. You also have to ask yourself how long it will be on the shelf. Eventually I'll have to switch to a new superduper blindingly bright LED, but at least I'm still buying these batteries.

Replacement battery for Maglite

Very good experience/deal with this seller. This is my second replacement battery for my Maglite which I upgraded with LEDs and a different chip. It has 3 intensity settings and this battery works perfectly with the update. Can't comment on durability yet as I haven't used it very long, but I expect it to last as long as it did when the battery was last changed. I'm glad they're still available as I've had my flashlight for many years. I am very happy with this purchase and the price is right.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not the best

Not very good! Leak will ruin your Mag Lite

Update Review! Bought in July last year! It rusted and I caught it before it ruined my negative end! I've had this flashlight for 30 years and bought maybe 3 batteries! The original lasted a long time! Everyone has it but this one! Do not buy! Cheap battery and doesn't last! And can ruin your Mag Lite! You can see the corrosion on the negative end in the picture! Perfect for charging my MagLite flashlight! The best flashlight I've ever had in 35 years! Highly recommended!

Check the date of manufacture on your battery; I have old goods!

Ordered 3 batteries for my 3 Maglite battery lights. When they arrived the first thing I checked was the date code. To read the date code, it is listed on the label and begins with a letter; "I". My date codes for these three batteries were 4914 for 2 and 1815 for the 3rd. The first two digits are the week and the last two digits are the year. So two of the three batteries were made on week 49, 2014, and the third battery was made on week 18, 2015. It turns out that this is the first week of…

PLEASE WORTH READING -

EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT USING THIS BATTERY - The OEM battery is always manufactured by Intec. This is a very good battery made to a high standard. The 5-digit code printed on the battery shows: the first digit is always "I” (Intec), the 2nd and 3rd digits are the week of the year the battery was manufactured; The 4th and 5th digits are the year of manufacture of the battery. For example, "I4914" would mean it was manufactured by Intec (for Maglite) between November 30th and December
