Great toy for dexterity and early letter acquisition

This is a simple, yet fun to play with. The steel balls are pulled into position to form the letters when the magnetic wand is drawn over the shape of the letters. The balls are easily pushed back down by running fingers across the balls and popping them back down.Very durable and easy to move around without loosing any parts.

Pros
  • My 4 y/o son loves this. He brings it out on his own to play with!
Cons
  • Not conducive to group play or sharing

Great quality. My 5 year old loved it

No issues with the magnets. Easy to use and appropriate for a 5 year old. Helped engaged him and got him excited to learn his abcs.

Pros
  • It can help build kids' confidence as they learn and master each letter of the alphabet
Cons
  • May require frequent replacement of magnetic stylus

Tactical Learning That's Relaxing

My soon to be kindergartener has some difficulty writing letters. He can identify them, but often he has trouble remembering which way each letter faces (such as the more difficult ones like B and G). I love how this product not only provides the directions in which you draw each letter, it also uses a pen-shaped writing device so that it assists in muscle memory. As he writes out each letter, a satisfying "click" is made with each metal ball finding its slot to sit in. Then, when he's all…

Pros
  • From beginning to end, kids can learn the entire alphabet in one cool and interactive game
Cons
  • May not appeal to all children's learning styles

My kid doesn't like it

I think this is a wonderful idea, but my son is just NOT interested. It seems to work as it is supposed to, so there's nothing wrong with the product that I can tell. Just not enough to interest my son

Pros
  • Learning & Education
Cons
  • Limited opportunity for physical activity or movement

Love The Concept - my new review

I love the concept of this magnet board but for shaky 3 year old hands this has been difficult to use. The magnets are round so they are bumpy and it knocks the pointer out of his hand. We love this and will be using this when he gets to be a bit older.

Pros
  • Very giftable for kids. I got it for my 3 yo to help him learn letters .
Cons
  • May not hold children's interest for extended periods of time

Surprisingly fun good for me

My 2.5 year old son got this for Christmas and loves it so far. Great toy for the kitchen table as it's clean and easy to travel with

Pros
  • The Magnatab's unique magnetic surface ensures the letters stay in place during use, preventing frustration and ensuring success
Cons
  • Limited options for storing or organizing multiple Magnatabs

Instantly engrossed

For kids who enjoy a little gamification to their schooling, this is perfect. My daughter, 3 1/2, was immediately obsessed and made more progress in learning her letters in one hour than she'd made in the last two weeks. Something about the sound, the feeling, the way holding a board and stylus makes her feel like a big kid - it all clicked for her. I'm so excited for her to use this board on her preschool journey.

Pros
  • The Magnatab is a perfect tool for early childhood learning and can help prepare kids for kindergarten and beyond
Cons
  • May require additional accessories or supplements for adequate learning value
