Description of Magnetic Bevel Jig Knife Making

Grind perfect bevels. Strong magnets hold work piece in place with fast blade rotations using no tools or clamps. Infinitely adjustable angles from 0° for surface grinding to 45° for creating unique designs and chisel sharpening. Works for knives but also works with any shape, including circles, squares, and other irregular shapes. It's a must have tool for knifemakers, MIG / TIG welders and anyone that creates with steel. Repeat your own custom angles by marking or scribing a line on the body above the angle plate. The fast angle adjustment makes working on multiple projects and complex designs easy. Made in the U.S.A. Anodized solid aluminum, machined quality construction. Makes an excellent gift.

I do not recommend this product due to many flaws

Not worth the money due to many flaws. You cannot sharpen smaller knives such as hunting knives. Large knives work well. Would not recommend this product

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Will write later

Great product, best jig accessory

Great product! I've always been able to make a damn good knife, it helps me with consistency in my work. It's well made and the magnets are very strong, so your work won't slip or shift while sanding!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very well made, but the shoulder is too thick for most FFG cuts.

I had to sand the strip surface a bit before I could expose most of the sanding blade surface. It would be nice if they shortened the shoulder to around .060" or offered jigs with different shoulder widths.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Empty

These holder guides are amazing!

I've had my eye on it for a long time, but just didn't want to spend the money. Now I regret not having bought it a long time ago! It's very easy to adjust the angle, but I wish there were marks to adjust on it, but it's easy to fix it yourself. The magnet is "very" strong, which I was concerned about. I would buy it again at any time and can only recommend this holder.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Only available in white

Well built but with some serious flaws

Fixing very well made with quality materials. cannot sharpen thin/small knives. (Requires the ability to adjust the holding magnets in/out) In addition, the contact surface on the underside is very narrow when installed at an angle, which impairs handling. But for the money and for large straight bladed knives this will get the job done.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • Damaged

Bad design has a good concept. Too expensive for what it offers

Magnets are strong enough to hold steel without moving. Although I haven't tested it with heavier abrasives. . Unfortunately, the ridge that the knife bed rests on is too wide for the thinner shank and is not adjustable, i.e. cannot be set to 90 degrees for polishing or chamfering. No measurements. There is no manual for the tool. The YouTube video description is misleading. return my money.

Pros
  • Sturdy design
Cons
  • Don't like it, everything is fine
