Very good design overall. The drawers open well if you don't hold the part of the panel that the drawer is under when you try to pull the drawers out and if you just put the parts in the drawer without the plastic wrap. I chose this one with drawers to collect figures while playing in the car so we don't lose figures.

We use this chess board almost every day. We took it to hotels on trips and entertained one child while the other did sports/extracurricular activities. The drawers sometimes jam when opening, but generally they are very reliable and hold all chess and checkers pieces well. I like that everything is self-sufficient and we don't have to lose bags of game chips.

The price is cheap because you get 3 games in 1. It is very convenient for travel. The only thing is that the black and white keys are a little weak for gaming. The magnet inside only seems to be in the middle so they don't stick to the board very strongly. But lifting them up and moving them around the board probably helps. This is normal quality if you buy for yourself. But for gifts, it's a bit cheap. But enough for the price.
