Pretty to look at and made beautiful once

Nice when you remove the ring cover from the part that is attached to the wall, which is a little difficult to remove and not too easy for the elderly. But I prefer rubber doorstops. It has a very good magnet.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Very strong though. in furniture accessories

The magnet is really strong. It feels like you're trying to pull the door off its hinges and making a lot of noise in the process. I had to improvise and use a piece just for the wall. I used a sticky magnet (cut into a square shape) and attached it to the back of the door. That works great!

Pros
  • Noble design
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great in office furniture and lighting

We had a door that was always closed. This is a child's room that is either colder or warmer due to the lack of air circulation. It works great even if it's a bit laggy. The magnet sticks to the wall and the stopper to the door. It also serves its purpose and we are happy with that.

Cannot be installed

Despite claims of easy installation, this is not the case. The base needs to come apart in order for you to attach it to a door or wall, but it won't come apart. I'm just starting the install today, the return window is closed so I'll stick with it. I plan on throwing this one out and going to Laws and finding something that works.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not the best option

First I used a dowel in the wall. The magnet was so strong when my 7 year old first closed the door that the part that goes in the door ripped out of the door. So I put an anchor in the door (not a wooden door) the next time my 7 year old tried to close the door the anchor flew and everything out of the wall! The magnet is definitely strong and holds the door open well. I think I would recommend it for a door that stays open all the time and doesn't close.

  • Office supplies

Works best in Door Stops

Our front door tends to slam in the wind when we're trying to bring in food. Works great and looks stylish. Like others, I had some trouble trying to disassemble a small portion of the device's magnetic button for installation. I used a rubber pad to protect the black metal coating, a couple of vises to hold it in place and a screwdriver inserted in the spine to unscrew it. I was about to give it up and return it thinking it must be broken but it suddenly worked and fell apart allowing me to…

Pros
  • Door Stops
Cons
  • Ugly Packaging

I have a bathroom door that I want to be halfway between fully open and closed. That's exactly where my elbow is when I'm combing my hair or moving. I had a moving doorstop for a while but sometimes it moved and was hard to find when kicked under the cabinets. My hair or dust would also get under it, and the door wouldn't hold open well. (I had to sweep every day because my hair was falling out). This magnetic doorstop solves all of these problems. It is not lost or moved. Hair underneath…

  • Could have opted for a newer model
