    This mount works great!

    I had to put a camera on a big window in front of the house. With a bit of double sided 3M stuff this worked great. The magnetic connection to the base that attached 3M to the window gave me all the positioning options I needed. Perfect solution!

    Quality Issues Don't be afraid to knock out the glue.

    It works But like the others I used hot glue to hold everything in place. It lacks quality but does the job. Within minutes, the screw inside the base is removed to keep it stable. Once it's what you want, there's no need to move it. Hence the reason for gluing it.

    Note: NOT SUITABLE FOR INTERNAL CAMERA Nest!

    I sent mine back for a full refund as it will not fit the camera in the mount unless it is facing down. What a waste of time and money! As I said, the circle is too big for the camera and doesn't fit anywhere! Don't get me wrong, the mount is made in the shape of a tank but does not fit in the inner chamber formed by the socket.

    The quality is extremely bad. Part of it looks like the 'white paint' was used to cover up poor quality paintwork.

    This product has serious quality control issues. The paintwork looks like it was badly sprayed. It also looks like "white paint" was used to cover up a poorly painted base. I would go back, but unfortunately it was the only 'white option' back then. Save money and paint the original mount that came with your camera - it will look better!

    They work well, there is nothing better on the market.

    Generally they work and serve their purpose. But as many other reviewers have said. SUPER ADHESIVE REQUIRED. The magnet has been separated from the box. Two drops of super glue and that's it. The rotation density is practically not adjustable. Mine is a little more unlucky than I'd like, but since it's immobile I haven't had any issues. I lost my OEM when moving house. These are the only brackets I could find and they work pretty much as intended.

    I've had it for 9 months and it no longer works. As others have said, the center magnet separates from the wall plate. Now I can't keep the magnetic center on the wall plate; hence the camera falls. Superglue helps. Another issue is that the camera mount doesn't tighten, so the camera keeps tipping forward; so you can't get the angle you want. This all happened after I had to move the camera due to a Wi-Fi change. So my advice is once you have it attached, never touch it.

    So I think this product works but I feel like it's a gimmick. In fact, this is the same mount that comes with the camera, plus a metal washer. I thought the metal disk was magnetic, which would make this product unique and worth the price, but after opening the product I quickly discovered that the *mount* of the camera was magnetic. This includes the original mount that came with my Nest camera. This means you only need one piece of metal and can do exactly the same thing as this product using

So strong, in fact, that the second time I separated the mount from the base, the large central piece of metal came out of the base and stuck to the mount! After separating it with a large vise (seriously, a magnet is overkill here), I glued…

    A real piece of junk

    Two main problems with this: The magnet that attaches the camera mount to the wall mount plate is incredibly weak - probably around 10% the strength of the magnet on the OEM nest mount. Also, the swivel that allows the camera to rotate - unless it's fully tightened, meaning it blocks the camera in one direction - is so loose that the top of the mount is practically wet noodles. I really wish this product was better made as it is one of the few white bindings.
