Considering the price, this is a good buy. This is a very simple light. Simple on/off switch integrated in the base. The magnetic base is strong enough to keep it in place fairly well. I don't know how it will perform under strong vibrations or on a smooth surface. The neck isn't very long, but once adjusted, it holds its position and delivers good light over a reasonable area. This is my second magnetic flashlight, the other one looks like it and is called "Sewing Machine Flashlight" but they work the same. I have one on my Rockwell BladeRunner and another on my scroll saw. This is a very good drill lamp. It's a lot smaller than I expected and doesn't bother at all. I read some reviews that said the light wasn't very bright. I'm not sure how bright they want it, but it's bright enough to aim the drill press where you want to drill and it illuminates the drill table with ease.
