Bought for a patio door and we love them so much we are adding them to the extra doors. These doorstops dampen the force of the door a bit and have magnets that keep the door perfectly open.

We bought these to use on our front door and garage door. We tried using rubber wedges but they slipped off the floor and the doors eventually closed. The magnetic closure works great. Always at hand, don't look for a limiter, excellent grip and unobtrusive. I love her

This oiled bronze magnetic doorstop is very attractive and easy to fit. My main gripe is that it works almost TOO well - the magnetic attraction is pretty strong. My door actually makes a thumping noise when you lift it off the wall stopper. If I could figure out how to make the magnetic attraction less intense I would rate it 5 stars.

The middle anchor is for concrete or solid wood floors only. When installing the stopper on drywall or baseboards, I don't use a center anchor at all. And when installing in drywall I would recommend using jack screws or molybdenum screws instead of the plastic sleeve anchors that are provided. The magnet is strong enough to hold any door as long as it is not spring loaded. Fit and finish are excellent.

The included anchors are almost useless. Mounted in the foyer and during the first test three screws + center anchors came loose. The magnet is strong enough to hold my 8ft x 3ft solid core door but too strong for the included hardware. The center anchor is not tightened enough to secure into the drywall. I was able to modify this a bit by using 3 lag screws to attach 3 screws to the wall. Not sure if this will continue with reuse.

I took the risk of ordering them with no reviews and I like them. The magnetism is strong enough to hold my door which is not level. He doesn't catch the door when you open it. The only difficulty I had was with the installation. Both parts are difficult to combine, try toothpaste. There is one piece that attaches to the wall and one piece that attaches to the door.
