Description of πŸ”₯ Enhance Engine Performance with MAHLE TI 236 95 Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing

Every MAHLE Original integral thermostat is designed to vehicle manufacturers' (OE) specifications - This integral thermostat is the OE part number for this application. With all components combined into the integral thermostat, they are convenient and can be flange-mounted directly onto the engine block. The last two or three digits of the MAHLE Original integral thermostat represent the opening temperature of the thermostat in degrees Celsius.

Direct replacement and good fit.

Fits perfectly and solved my problem. This happened to a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo X, which sometimes complained that it was taking "too long to warm up," turning off the service light and disabling the auto start.

  • Very impressive

It works, the item is ground off the molding.

Installed well. Strange that the part number was deleted from the mold. FYI, tighten the screws, then finish with a 1/4 turn. A lot of people on the internet claim 105 lbf of torque, which would be crazy. The engine reaches about 212 and then drops back down to about 203.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not the best

Good solid replacement

Perfect for my 2013 JGC, easy to install if you are mechanically inclined. If not, just watch the video on You Tube. Shop for Mopar coolant at Revain while you're there. You lose a piece when you disconnect the hoses. member to cover engine belts before removing hoses or loosening bolts.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Only available in black

2013 Jeep Wrangler Thermostat Replacement

screws as original. First you need to drain the coolant. The hardest part is the spring clips. I highly recommend buying/borrowing/renting a spring clamp tool for this. I didn't do that either and managed the change, but it would have been much faster with a clamping tool.

Pros
  • Easy To Use
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Great product, great price (Jeep Wrangler 2017)

I replaced the thermostat and radiator at the same time and everything worked great. At first I was concerned it was all plastic and it would be difficult to tighten enough to prevent leakage without hacking the device. It was very easy as I just pushed it open and no problem. I would definitely buy from them again.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great replacement

Installed on my 2013 Dodge Durango 3.6L Pentastar. It literally took me 10 minutes to change it. The housing fit perfectly, the gasket was tight and didn't leak, and all I had to do was move the intake manifold aside, remove the upper radiator hose, remove the old thermostat housing and then replace. It is so easy! I've been riding for 2 weeks now, no leaks, no overheating. Thanks very much!
