A Blacklight, also referred to as a UV Flashlight or Black Light Flashlight, is just simply the shining of ultraviolet light on an area or object to show fluorescence. Since many items fluoresce, Black Light is used in wide-ranging professions. Our UV Black Light is an autonomic light source with central UV line at 365 nm. In a dark environment, 36 LEDs matrix product a uniform spot, no dark spots in the illuminated area. For better UV quality (real Black Light), all light emitters are covered with black glass filter with high transparency of UV, and cut-off for visible light. This is essential when Black Light is needed to observe fluorescence. Our Black Light is powered by a single 18650 Rechargeable li-ion battery. That can save your money of buying AA/AAA batteries, compare with those Black Light Flashlights powered by Alkaline Batteries. The irradiance levels of 365nm Black Light are intensive, maybe 2-3 times of solar at a distance of 4 inch. It is highly recommended to wear the UV goggles (supplied with the light, in the box) when operating.

It's Not Worth It - Urine Detectors

Not at all what I was hoping for with this lamp. I dared because of the different design. This is a well-built flashlight, but definitely shouldn't be used for UV mineral hunting. Should work fine for photography.

Perfect for Glow Disc Golf

This black light can be used in many ways but I bought it to charge glow disc golf discs. Due to summer time in the winter months it is difficult to play disc golf after work as it gets dark very early. One way to play in the dark is to use glow-in-the-dark discs. Works great for finding out what's dirty

WOW, and nasty! This ultraviolet black light is great for finding a mess I didn't even know existed. We adopted dogs and I was shocked to find a hidden mess I didn't know about. This light also shows you how well you've cleaned up the mess and if it needs cleaning up again.
