Description of ๐Ÿ”Œ Set of 2 Na no V3.0 Microcontroller Boards with ATmega328P, CH340G Chip, 5V 16MHz, Including 2x 245mm USB Cables - Arduino Compatible

Matters Need Attention:Before running the procedure, pls install the corresponding computer system driver.Drivers: directly from the chip manufacturer: WCH 340 product home page: http://www.wch.cn/product/CH340.html; http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_LINUX_ZIP.html (linux should operate fine without the driver); http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_MAC_ZIP.html; http://www.wch-ic.com/download/list.asp?id=127 (windows); http://bit.ly/2pMF4in. Small Arduino UNO Board:It is a smallest, complete and breadboard friendly board. It has everything that Arduino/Genuino UNO has (electrically) with more analog input pins and onboard +5V AREF jumper. More Breadboard Space:Nano's got the breadboard-ability of the Boarduino and the Mini+USB with smaller footprint than either, so users have more breadboard space. It's got a pin layout that works well with the Mini or the Basic Stamp (TX, RX, ATN, GND on one top, power and ground on the other). Specification:The Nano can be powered via the Mini-B USB connection, 7-12V unregulated external power supply (pin 30), or 5V regulated external power supply (pin 27). The power source is automatically selected to the highest voltage source. Usage: The Nano is 100% compatible with Arduino, with the same chips ATmega328P and CH340 with the official version

ATTENTION DO NOT BUY! Both boards were ready to use

Both boards do not accept codes. I tried 3 different ones, PC 2 different cables, downloaded their driver, updated the driver, let windows install the driver automatically, pressed the reset button while loading (seen on a forum), resorted to Arduino Basic Blink example in case was mine code the problem. Same result every time. It's complete rubbish. Both boards have the same problem. Worst of all, I bought them for a school project that was due in two days. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Weight

Problem uploading the program

I tried to upload the program to the board and got an error message. If you have the same problem, go to Tools-Processor and select ATmega328P (old bootloader). That worked for me. no further information about Arduino NANO

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Seems to work well

Looks like a decent board for the price. I was able to connect to Ubuntu with no issues and also to Windows. The Arudino IDE saw the board and I was able to boot it without any problems. Electrically everything worked, no cold solder connections and testing with simple code, everything looks fine, everything worked as expected with the PWM output, the analog input as well as the digital I/O.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not trendy

Typical Chinese quality. Random chance to be bad.

I was able to program both boards using the "(Old Bootloader)" option in the Arduino software. However, one board had intermittent issues with USB. You can see in my screenshot that a real USB device communication fails with a simple handle request. It actually looks like a hardware problem. The other board seemed to work fine even when plugged/unplugged/plugged back in. The bad board was ALREADY able to talk at least once, I was able to send her a blink sketch. But it was a very unreliableโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Poor kit
