High Motor - Fan Motors

Media failed to load. I bought this drum motor for my gold panning plant, my drum was a crank but nothing more. The price is good, the hardest part was finding a drive pulley small enough for clearance but with enough teeth to drive the belt. I also had to make a special bracket as the L-shaped brackets weren't meshed either.

Pros
  • Fixing: M6 Screw Holes
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Just what I needed for the project

which was a moving target for firearms intended to run on a 12v battery This motor worked perfectly and for use with larger diameter pulleys, only a 3/8 to 1/2 inch ring was required. Pulleys and bushings were purchased from McMaster and work great. The motor can easily be reversed by changing the polarity of the wires. Seems to be very durable. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Rated voltage: 13.5V DC
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Electrical quality product

I bought this motor to open and close the apertures at my observatory. Motor quality is excellent and as expected a bit quick for the application. A pair of sprockets and a piece of chain solved the problem with speed. The motor is quiet and has more than enough power to move the bolt. The power consumption was as stated.

Pros
  • Rated speed: 50 rpm
Cons
  • not reliable
