Awesome blade for saws, parts and accessories

I have a metal fabrication shop and use a lot of square tubing. (1/2" to 3") I've made literally THOUSANDS of cuts and the blade still cuts great. I will sharpen soon.

Pros
  • Awesome design
Cons
  • Out of fashion

A Champion - Saws, Parts & Accessories

I am a designer and manufacturer. My Makita cold cutting saw and its blade are masters. Cuts smooth and sharp with little heat. Strong and durable. Maybe a little pricey but well worth it

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • No Instructions

Expensive! Wears out fast!

The blade is terribly expensive and dulls very quickly. Almost useless after about 40 cuts in 1/2" square steel tubing (1/16" thick). Save money and just buy sanding sheets for $5. I see no difference in cut quality.

Pros
  • High-quality workmanship
Cons
  • There are problems

Great blade! for saw blades, parts and accessories

I have a Makita 12" hacksaw and it is the best hacksaw on the market. I have used a few others that "grind" more than they" cutting". The saw is fantastic and the Makita blade is durable and cuts great. My original blade lasted almost a year with weekly use and countless cuts.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not worth the money. $5 per cut is about what you pay!

Withstands about 20 cuts on 1.75" pipe before it becomes dull. This is done with cutting wax and slow cutting. last right no! Should have just bought 2 or 3 cheaper canvases it would have been better.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Not bad

made about 22 cuts and still cuts like new. nice sharp cuts

Used this blade on a Dewalt miter saw with 20 amp gearing and wax lubrication. Cutting 16 gauge 5/8" square tubing and 1" square tubing. someone told me to feed him very slowly, which i did. made about 22 cuts and still cuts like new. nice sharp cuts. So far, so good. Had to buy a 1" adapter for a Dewalt 5/8" shaft - no problem, Harbor Freight has it.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Expensive but very good blade

This is a very good blade and will last a long time if used properly. Don't cut too fast or too slow (listen to RPM); cut nothing but carbon steel; do not use lubricants; don't discard the entrance to your cut; Don't cut much material thicker than 1/4 inch (sometimes you can, but stay under 1/8 inch thick on average). If you do this you will have a long lasting blade. Also, this blade can be resharpened if no teeth are broken (see above), this can take years if you follow the rules.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say
