Good roomy case for drills and accessories

Firstly if you are planning to buy one for your drills I recommend this medium size. It comfortably fits in: impact tool, drill/screwdriver (with batteries or separately), charger and 3 sets of drill bits. It has very strong clasps. Sure they're plastic, unlike other brands which are metal clips, but they seem pretty solid. They slide out easily to attach other containers. Overall a pretty solid build. It's ABS, though, and not entirely sure if it's as strong as other plastics. The time will…

    Best Value in Tool Organizers

I have several of these and like them better than the hard cases that usually come with better power tool sets due to the flexibility to build your own set . Makita's systainers use an old-style locking mechanism that's pretty impractical compared to Festool's new T-Loc systainers, but they're half the price. A newer style can be superimposed on an old one, but not vice versa. They seem less durable to me compared to some other systems, like the Milwaukee Packout, but I've never had a single…

The old Tanos is the best of power tools and hand tools

I only bought this to clearly identify the few Makita tools I have but don't use often. Unfortunately, the Thanos clips are actually still on two of my suitcases. I waxed them but seriously shouldn't have. Tanos are generally overpriced and depending on the type of plastic used, they will break if dropped. There are much better packaging and stacking systems out there, but unfortunately I have way too many Festools, all of which are Tanos Systainers. I wish Thanos had something more durable and

    Discreet drawer, great system

The fact that they can be stacked with festool systainer drawers makes them really attractive. Festool makes some really cool boxes but they are very expensive so I have a few of these and use them for my little used tools. Makita boxes are actually a bit lame, quite heavy and slow to open. There is a very high probability that when trying to open them, a nail will break. I wouldn't recommend buying these unless you mix and match with boxes from Festool because those Makita boxes suck. There…

    Pretty handy toolboxes.

I love that Makita makes these tool boxes. I love boxes and storage, and ones that are modular, lockable, and stackable are even better. They fit perfectly, having recently dabbled in battery powered tools I needed a place to keep them in my garage. Now that most companies don't make handy carrying cases for their tools, I'm hoping this makes up for it. The boxes are quite sturdy, could use some thicker and stronger plastic if I'm picky. But they work well enough. I have all sizes from XL to S.
