How many others. - Grinders

I got this to replace an air tool that wasn't strong enough. It doesn't seem to falter at all and seems to have gotten quieter. I don't know if it has a "soft start" feature per se, but it does NOT twitch in your hand when starting, even with a 3" blade, and it really gives you a sense of control. It's not as heavy on the hand as I thought it would be, but be aware it's more than expected. It is in fact slightly heavier than an air tool. Makita GD0601 1/4 " Die Grinder

I found the GD0601 to be a very decent die grinder for the price. The grinder is a 25,000rpm single speed machine, not variable speed like the specs There is no storage box included, which is also incorrectly stated.I was able to find a really good 14-7/8" x 9-3/4" x 4-1/4" metal foam-lined storage case from Coastal Tool find, [part number: CC] for about twenty-three dollars, that means good for a grinder and also has a small detachable metal parts bin that can hold collet wrenches along with a

It's important to know what you're buying before you buy, and this and other grinders have many negative reviews, as do attachments and burrs. A lot of these reviews are unfounded and/or they're not really complaining about the performance of the tool itself. This is a basic electric straight grinder with an idle speed of 25,000 rpm.
