Great hair dryer. You got what you paid for. Setting the temperature is easy and PRECISE! high airflow. There aren't many accessories in the kit, but the box has everything I need.

This blow dryer was just what I needed to loosen the factory red Loctite coated ferrule nuts. I was able to set a temperature that didn't affect either the Ceracot or the receiver. After 15-2.0 minutes of directional heating, the nut came off easily. Additional hints made the work even easier. I used a small nozzle to focus the heat on the nut.

Heat gun seemed great. It was light, comfortable to hold, and appeared to be made of decent materials. In addition, it heats up quickly. However, I used it for a project and didn't really get the unit to work hard, just set the temp to around 500F. After a while I noticed that selecting "High Speed" didn't change anything anymore. My device couldn't maintain the max temperature for more than 3 minutes at best. In half the time it heats up to a maximum of about 50%, then after 30 seconds it overheats and the device cools down. Then I have to wait about 30 minutes before trying again. "Cool mode" does not solve this problem in any way. Once it was on I tried cooling and then raising the temperature but it didn't respond. I bought this unit not only because it has an easy to read and adjustable digital heat display, but also because it has a 3-level airflow adjustment that includes the Rapid cooling function (position 1).
