Poor Quality: Waste of Money

I purchased an industrial power tool for my work from the Industrial and Scientific category, but unfortunately, the Makita XAD01Z Lithium Ion Cordless Angle didn't meet my expectations. Pros
  • Powerful torque for a cordless angle drill
Cons
  • Higher price point compared to other cordless angle drills on the market

Perfect for drilling holes in rivets!

Powerful cordless right angle drill/driver. Great for drilling holes in awkward places, good enough I use it even when I have room for a conventional drill LED task lighting is a nice touch.

Pros
  • Metal chuck with 3/8" key for improved drill grip
Cons
  • Vanish

Made in China, drill bit

Used for the first time last night and started sparking and looks like the motor has a short .When buying made in China Buy Makita from a good authorized dealer who specializes in Made in Japan versions then you have a great tool but if the box says Made in China send the junk back, it's not same parts its about the battery which you also have to say they are made in japan and last ten years i still have 3.0 out of 16 and they are still going strong and i use them all the time.

Pros
  • Compact angle head 2-5/8" tall for use in tight spaces
Cons
  • Requires outlet
