Refined firing mechanism reduces recoil; reduces force required on the work surface when driving pin nails. Drives 6 different lengths, 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 1", 1-3/16" and 1-3/8", of 23 gauge pin nails (tool does not work with 1-1/4" Pin nails). Magazine capacity up to 120 pin nails. Anti-dry Fire mechanism engineered to prevent driving blanks and damage to work surface. "Tool-less" Depth adjustment for precise flush and Countersink finish. Cordless for increased convenience; eliminates the need for a compressor and air hose.

Loved it but: Nailer

Worked great, I was so happy using it I immediately started fixing things in and around the house. As soon as I had a chance to use it for exactly what I bought it for (putting numbers on homemade clocks and plates) the piston broke. Contacted Makita hoping the solution would be a simple "we'll send you a replacement part" (which costs about $7), but instead they want you to take it to a certified service center for repair. The closest one to us is over 40 miles away so it looks like I'll just…

I love this Makita nail gun.

It changed my life. I did everything the old fashioned way, doing everything by hand during isolation from the pandemic. Hand tools only, no power tools. Believe me, it was a fun experiment, but now I have a lot less time since I'm back at work. So to keep cutting wood, I have an electric or battery powered tool. Prone to congestion. Not enough power to drive hardwood

TLDR: Don't waste your money on this! Insufficient power leads to frequent jams, does not always fully insert the nails, and eventually becomes unusable as jamming damages delicate parts of the tool. A 23g nail gun, but it's too fickle to be worth your time and money. I've had it for about a year now and use it professionally as a carpenter.
