Glad to find it here as this part broke fairly easily and ended up not being patched so I needed a new one. Advertised as used on Revain but is actually still sealed in the original plastic. Thank you!

The reason I ordered this was because the original was broken. It is the same as the original. You really don't have a choice when you have this tripod - you have to order this extender but be careful with the alu connectors - they break.

Metal parts break too easily. I teach photography and video in high school and I think I might have to start depending on a new brand. I got a brass pneumatic quick disconnect from Harbor Freight and replaced the broken part with it, a screw and some epoxy. $95 saved. I plan to post both on the tube if anyone is interested.

I am very upset with my Manfrotto 546b tripod. I spent about $900 on it and the two leg locks are so loose (after only 2 months) that they can't hold the camera without shrinking and falling off (thank god there was only an mt T3i on it, not my 5d mark III ) . Also, and why am I writing here, the spreader simply broke after 2 uses.
