If you've got a decent camera and lens, this isn't a very supportive monopod. Don't let the trippy feet fool you. Also, it was noisy in a church when it was on. If I don't make it past the return window I would return it.

I deducted 1 star because you can't get smooth pans (left/right) with this fluid head. This is only good for slight inclines (up/down). This is because part of the panning is at the very bottom at the base near the foot.

I bought this monopod because a lot of people recommend it but the truth is that I couldn't use it until a few months ago and it almost damaged my camera when it fell on the ground, the legs don't hold up long enough and not stable at all.

I bought two of these monopods and use them for wedding shoots. They're lightweight but don't feel cheap. They are easy to use and allow me to stabilize my footage while still being able to move and shoot. Depending on how you attach the base of the monopod, you can get some great Dutch shots by tilting the monopod while holding the base with your foot.

I feel a little cheated by the tricky photography in the product photos. When you buy a fluid head kit, you get a head that cannot be placed on any other tripod as it cannot pan, only tilt. All panning occurs on the underside of the monopod, meaning everything rotates as you pan. If the photos showed the back of the head you would notice that there is no pan control screw. Pretty misleading, doesn't look good.

The cheap screw that secures the pivot base to the pole is loose. Xpro is now useless. This is my second and it has lasted six months longer than my first which broke after three months. I tried a new bolt and washer but they still create an unwanted tremor in my head that causes my frames to jump and skip. NO SUPPORT FROM ITALY IS POSSIBLE! I tried and this is what I got. The monopod itself is good quality and sturdy, but I used it to shoot a weekend wedding and noticed that the screw that attaches the camera to the tripod base wouldn't lock itself because I lost that screw during boot up. Luckily my shooting partner had a tripod that I could use, but that could ruin my entire wedding shoot because the screw fell out and didn't have a rubber stopper or anything to hold it in place.

You don't always have time to line up the 3 legs of the tripod and it's sturdy enough for the camera to stand up and get a good static shot as long as you stay close in case passers-by hit it. I use it for detailed real estate video recording as well as slow motion and it does the job.

As you can see in the video I posted the mount doesn't work and the monopod falls. I've only used it twice, both times at weddings for videography, both times on a Canon 5D Mark iv with a 70-200 lens, hoping that such an expensive and solid monopod would work flawlessly.
