Works bad. on network products

I was happy to install what I thought was a good value. I'm an IT guy (programmer) so I figured out the menu but it's pretty far from intuitive. So what, I thought. As soon as I make money, I can handle it. This thing must be very low power because it drops packets, wireless connections over AC and N are slow, and the range around my house is about 30 feet (compared to at least double what my old run-of-the-mill N router did). So this garbage will be replaced today. I keep it as a backup.

Pros
  • WAN port: 1 RJ45 port 10/100/1000Mbps

IT experience required to set passwords. Nothing for beginners.

Works great if you know how to set passwords. The CD and the user manual do not show how to do this. I had to call the manufacturer and ask how to do this. Once you have it, it works great!

Pros
  • 300Mbps Wireless N (2.4GHz) + 867Mbps Wireless AC (5GHz), 2T2R MIMO, QoS, 4 Port Gigabit LAN Switch

Great quality - if you can get it at a discounted price

I've seen various iterations of Manhattan products as inexpensive peripherals, so I was surprised that they had wireless connectivity. As you might have guessed from the Manhattan line of products, this device is the same as the 1200ac Edimax router, just renamed. To give some backstory, when my D-Link dual band N Gigabit router stopped working wirelessly a little over a year ago. I was looking for a cheap replacement and the cheap replacement was 10/100 and had constant latency issues even…

Pros
  • memory: 64MB DDR2 RAM
Cons
