Not worth the money

Completely disappointing. I bought it for my daughter and the color left a lot to be desired. I don't bleach her hair, she's blonde so her hair is virgin and usually very easy to dye. I have used other brands that are slightly more expensive and have excellent results. I thought it would be good to use what I used as a teenager. I was wrong. Never buy Manic Panic again. 100% not worth it.

Mystic Heather Review & Tips

Apply Mystic Heather to hair. I didn't thin with conditioner (like some people do in many of the tutorials I've seen), I used full strength color. I have really thick hair about an inch below my shoulders and it took me 2 glasses to cover my head. but 3 would be better as i missed some places. After bleaching, my poor hair was thirsty and practically drank all the color. I left it on for 30 minutes and then washed. I like the way it looks. I'll have to go through it again to fix what I missedโ€ฆ

Nice color but not durable.

This is a beautiful color - somewhere between cool pink and purple, just what I wanted. The problem is that it is almost completely washed out with shampoo and completely disappears after about 3 years. And I'm talking about a color-safe shampoo that won't wash out my other hair dyes, including other Manic Panic ones. Even if you leave it overnight, it just won't stay. Mystic Heather is a beautiful color, but unfortunately it has the least staying power of any Manic Panic color I've tried.
