Mann-Filter HU719/7X Metal-Free Engine Oil Filter Review

I use the full range of Mann filters and have almost always been satisfied. I have received this HU/719/7 many times and a day after installing it I found one of the small plastic clips on the bottom of the box. After 10,000 miles it appeared to have stayed in place in the filter housing. a good thing.

Bought with Liqui Moly 3701 5W-40 Top Tec 4100 synthetic oil for an oil change in my 2006 VW Jetta TDI. Have used this brand before. Looks a little different than the branded VW, but works great. Great deal and I love the convenience of having it delivered to my door with Prime. Arrived in perfect condition.

Perfect OEM filter for Volkswagen Jetta TDI 2005.5/2006. My suggestion is that after you take the old block out and put this new filter in, be sure to soak the filter in oil by pouring some in and twisting it so that it is closed and you are not running it dry as such. Perfect fit and price. The only oil filter I will be using in my Jetta TDI.

Buy this along with Mann-Filter C 35 154 air filter for my service intervals on my 2012 VW Jetta TDI. Like the air filter, it appears to be identical to the dealer-installed OEM filter that I removed.
